John East retired from Actel Corporation in November 2010 in conjunction with the transaction in which Actel was purchased by Microsemi Corporation. He had served as the CEO of Actel for 22 years at the time of his retirement. Previously, he was a senior vice president of AMD, where he was responsible for the Logic Products Group. Prior to that, Mr. East held various engineering, marketing, and management positions at Raytheon Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor. In the past he has served on the boards of directors of Adaptec and Zehntel (both public companies), and MCC and Single Chip Systems (both private companies. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Alacritech - A private company involved in the data storage market, Atrenta – a supplier of design tools to the IC designer community, and Pericom – a supplier of serial connectivity enabling integrated circuits. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Dube is a serial entrepreneur, having founded and grown many successful technology companies in North America and Europe. His executive level management experience spans a broad range of technologies including semiconductors, embedded security, wireless, imaging, video, robotics & machine vision. Most recently, Mr. Dube was President & CEO of Elliptic Technologies which was acquired by Synopsys (NASDAQ:SNPS). He has also been founder or held executive roles at Wavesat (broadband wireless), Atsana (mobile imaging) and DIPIX (imaging instruments for bio-medical imaging and machine vision). He has also served on the Board of several technology companies, and has played an active role in mentoring and advising CEO’s of startups. Mr. Dube holds a degree in Systems Design Engineering from University of Waterloo.
Dr. Oberg is one of the co-founders and Chief Executive Officer of Tortuga Logic. He oversees technology and strategic positioning of the company. He is the founding technologist of the company and has brought years of intellectual property into the company that he successfully transferred out of the University of California. Dr. Oberg is leading the company to meet all milestones including raising capital, tripling the team size, putting together strategic partnerships, and generating revenue on all products and services. Dr. Oberg has a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.
